I’ve recently acquired a 6” Vornado and was hoping for some recommendations on how to restore the gold plastic cover?

Never mind, it just needed a good scrubbing with some Dawn soap. I thought the plastic itself was stained.

Wow, that looks great. What a transformation! Dawn soap is really versatile.

Any type of polish will help it, but I keep a bottle of PlasticX to clean the plastic window on my convertible and that works great. Its not too abrasive and it won't make it less brittle but seems to restore the luster and feel of older plastic pretty well.
