The Dominion 2030c I am working on I got back together. But I noticed the bolts were bent. Everyone that holds the stater and head together. Trying to reinstall the stater I found after straightening the bolts the stater holes and the head do not line up hence the bent bolts. I used 8 32 rod instead of the 10 32 I pulled out. it was not perfect but it worked the the rotor is free and spins nice. After hooking it all up it started smoking after about 30 seconds so I turned it off. I hooked up the amp meter and its pulling 6.5 amps on high and 5.3 on low. No schematics on this one so I am not sure but I don't think it should pull more than 1 amp to 1.5. Any ideas on this? I think I may need a new head.
