So I did some checking on the fan that is drawing a lot of amps. 5 to 7 and over heating. I ran an Ohms meter on the stater frame and the coil wires going into the stater from the switch. All show a reading. Not a lot but as soon as the leads are connected it has a reading. This is a short? Bad stater correct?
