Found this in a local auction. The blade on the left comes off when I turn it on - blade has a rubber sleeve that goes over the shaft. Anyone have an idea how old it might be? Attached Image (viewed 141 times):

That's not a Lasko (title of your post). That's a GE and is late 1950's to early 1960's. I believe the original GE twin fans came out in 1953 and had two separate "turnabout" fans.

THAT IS A 1955 OR 56 MODEL , THEY ALSO CAME WITH SHINY UNPAINTED BLADES. THERE IS A POST ON THE WEBSITE ABOUT USING VACCUUM CAPS FROM THE AUTO PARTS STORE IN PLACE OF THE RUBBER MOUNT
