Hello fellow collectors. I recently acquired the fan below (mainly for the six wing blade). It wasn't running. I believe that one of the wires at the back of the stator is broken off since no power is getting to the stator. The stator is press fit into the case and before I attempt to remove the stator to repair the wires, I thought I would get some pointers on how best to do it. This is a centrifugal start fan. I wonder if the case can be expanded with heat to facilitate removal? Suggestions? I read Darrell Koller's post using a six inch gear pulley puller which is very clever. Is there an easier (cheaper) way to do this?
