Bill, it would be nice to have a duo of Diehl toilet bowl oscillators, one that runs, like yours, on "Deadly Current" together with the one I so have with a GE BMY motor that can simply be plugged into the wall to get the "Acceptable Current" needed to run it.   I agree, your fan is unrestored but with, as you say, some polishing of the brass.   I do have a Deadly Current Diehl and am no longer looking for fans to add to my collection.   With all original finish including the brass, my 9" early Diehl stationary fan c.1906.   Your fan is great and rarely seen.  My AC version of your toilet bowl has three cage struts giving it a distinctly different frontal view from your 4-strut cage.
