Hello!  My name is Amy and my woodworking company used to be located at 2850 N Pulaski in Chicago, IL.  As most you probably know, that was the ILG manufacturing building.  About six years ago, the building was purchased and rehabbed.  During that process, many of the old ILG original product blueprints surfaced and were being tossed in the dumpster.  We didn't want to see a piece of Chicago history simply thrown away, so we saved what we could.   I have tried unsuccessfully to find the best home for these prints.  Some are tissue, some are thicker paper and some are on a plastic material and all came from the ILG archive room in the building.  I am not asking any money for these prints, but would like to see them go to a place where they can be appreciated - which I thought might be the Fan Museum.  I have not found the right person to contact and thought I would post here.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with these original blueprints? Any suggestions welcome...thank you!
