Here's a picture of the rotor from my Samson 1406-N rubber-bladed fan. I got the oscillator-side parts off the shaft, but the front-side bearing doesn't want to come off due to a bulge in the shaft itself. I don't want to force it and damage the bearing or shaft, but I see no other way to remove it.  Would it be safe to "force" the bearing over the expanded part of the shaft to get it and the other 4 parts off?
I ran into a similar dilemma when I restored my GE Vortalex pedestal fan last year. I remember the Vorty's oilite bearing being a little tight to remove, but it came off. I'd rather be safe than sorry, so I'm asking what you guys think about forcing the bearing over the bulge.  Thanks.
