I understand that, but it was able to run at 2 different speeds im 95% certain of that and ive taken the entire fan apart and there is no speed coil just the switch but I digress.

It had the power cord going to the switch and then the motor unless im missing something, there is nothing in the base of this particular fan.

Since I need to take it apart anyway to replace the switch once I track one down I could post a pic of the guts if wanted
