Well, if you have a metal blade for sure, strip it down and polish that aluminum with a good metal polish. I used Mother’s Mag/Aluminum polish, no buffing wheel in my garage 🤛
I prefer to keep my fans looking as original as possible.
I'm what you would call a purist.
