Wow!  I can’t believe the number of views!  Must be close to the record?

I found and contacted the great grandson of the (then) owner of the fans.

He told me his great grand-daddy traded all the fans for controlling interest

in the San Francisco Earthquake Insurance Company back in aught-three.

I did some further research on his great grand-daddy.  Ain’t Google wonderful?

His great grand-daddy prospered in his new business for about three years.

But great grand-daddy's business went sour in '06, and on his way to the courthouse to

file for bankruptcy, he unexpectedly fell to his death, into an open man hole

while crossing Market Street.  Sad, but true story.

Yeah, all those views...kind of scarey to think there are that many people peeking in.

I think of the weirdest things.   Who has a relative who would have been old enough to walk into a store and buy one of these fans or better yet a brand new Meston .......... and that you have met and talked to.  My grandparents would not count, born in 1887 would not have been old enough to buy a Meston.  I met my great grandfather who was born in 1865 and was close to 100 when I met him.  If I could have sent him a message, he could have done it.

113,536 people are waiting on their Teslas and Lundells, Jim!
Better start googling how to find that many.
