Hi Michael!

My smile for the day.:D Actually most of the time I see fans that I like, they seem to be in the eastern part of PA. Naturally once in a while they do show up locally, but not nearly as much as the ones far away. I guess all we can do is beat the local bushes and keep a sharp eye out. Of course there is always Ebay, where some sellers find a mid 1950's fan and think they struck gold!:P Some of the prices make me comment out loud. Thanks, have a good 4th!:D

you too steve...i havent been to the local antique stores in a while, been workin like crazy lol..On the Ebbay note, the only thing i ever use ebay for is to try to gauge what my vintage / antique fans and electronic equipment are going for...other than that, i dont trust that anything i buy off there will arrive safely

they are great fans.. the earliest models were a taupe beige with no badge on the front.  i have 2 of each the 4 wing and later 3 wing and one double 17" and a later 60s shorty model with steel blade. they are better than many a fan and dont make a ton of noise
