Looking for a Chelsea made window fan, I believe the model number is 57W2. Vornado rebrand model number 57VW2. This fan would have 5 push buttons and a thermostat knob in the lower right hand corner. Two speed reversible with the off button in the center. I unfortunately know very little about this fan and the only actual photograph I have is part of an old family photo. Working on getting a better scan of it. I believe it may have been made some time in 1957 or a few years later. These were made before Frigid took over the design. I have come across a few similar models but none that have both the push-button style control as well as a thermostat. I would consider this my personal holy grail and would absolutely love to get my hands on one.

Note: Air King made a similar looking fan, but this is not it. They share nothing other than a slight resemblance.

I have uploaded (or attempted to) two photos, one showing a poor scan of the fan from my family photo album and the other is the more common lower end model with just a rotary knob control (Otherwise being the same fan)

Okay cool, thanks. Contacted Mike this morning and he's going to look at the one he has to see if it's the same.

I also found out that the Chelsea version is likely model 57W2.

This is the switch the one I'm looking for would have, with a thermostat to the right of the buttons where that screw is.

I'm not yet 100% sure if a thermostat can be installed where the screw is. It's certainly in the right location, but I don't know if the switch plate not being recessed where the screw is for a nut is a problem.
