I've always loved these particular box fans for some reason (especially with metal handles), and I found this one on Craigslist not even five minutes from home for next to nothing!

Here it is with my other Dominion, I added the round badge to the fan with the plastic handle:

As you can see, the blade hub on the plastic handled fan is slightly different and there are no spring clips to hold the grilles on.  The cabinet on the metal handled fan is also around an inch deeper, and the factory cord is a bit thicker.

Great fans! Can't beat em. Your metal handle is late 50's, and the non venturi is late 60's. They are my favorite box fan and have a great start up sound. Love purring flutter of the blades too..

Thanks Chris!

I would say they're also my favorite box fan, and they do have a really nice start up! Especially on high speed, you can hear those motors produce a nice whine. Both of mine have a fantastic coast time, too.

What a great set of fans there. I myself love the Dominion box/twin fans.

Thank you all for the responses! Eventually I'd like to find one of the electrically reversible models.

I found a pretty nice one today. The paint is wearing thin but it runs great

These are pretty common, but are nice quiet running fans.

Think you could post a few pictures?  I've always found those to be interesting fans, and they don't seem to pop up too often.
