Check out the movie called "The Natural". We watched it last night and I caught at least 5 FIA's. A Vorty, an Emmy, and 3 unknowns. One was even running

Just spotted this one on Big Bang Theory. It's in the laundry room.

Anyone know the make/model?

Its a Freshn'd Aire, not sure of the model number though, could be one of the model 20 somethings, but not sure as I'm not sure what the differences were between the various Freshn'd Aire Models, although I Knew that fan was on Big Bang Theory, its been in the laundry room set of the show ever since the very first episode, and its now going on its 10th season now. The funny thing is that the fan is NEVER seen running in the show ever, its just there as a prop and that's it. It is being assumed that the fan is just being stored there and that its not actually being used.

Really? And exactly how can you tell what kind of fan the creators of the show Family Guy had in mind when they drew that fan in that jury room scene? It looks like they were just drawing a generic looking "old timey" fan since the courthouse in Quahog is supposed to be over 200 years old.

Hey Levi. Air Castle was the first three wing I could find in the photo gallery. :hammer:  Indiana Jones The Last Crusade has at least three fans if I remember correctly. Watch the library scene when the old guy is stamping the books. There is a fan next to him. Happy hunting.  Steve

I  see. OK. Well  anyways  as  far  as  fans  go  in  animated  TV  shows  or  movies  I  try  not  to  speculate  too  much  about  what  kind  of  fan  the  fans  in  the  shows  or  movies  were  based  on  because  it's  just  not  something  I  do, unless  the  design  of  the  fan  in  the  show  or  movie  definitely  looks  like  a  real  life  fan  model  I  recognize.

If you want to see some nice fans in a movie check out "Key Largo" with Humphrey Bogart and Edward G Robinson. There are multiple ceiling and desk fans. Just off the top of my head there are Emerson long nose ceiling fans. A Emerson 29648. A GE BMY that Edward G is using in the beginning of the movie.

I think the Christmas movie was the Puppet Master prequel! Great special effects for that time period!

Apparently whoever does the Fox cartoons likes fans. With those fat wings this one is obviously a Century. 😝  No need to tell me how stupid this is.  I'm well aware.

Check out The Cars that Made America, 3 show series that ran on the History Channel Sun, Mon and Tues. Lots of FIA's in the office and warehouse scenes.

You beat me to it Jeff. The one in the office looks like a loop handle but it looks like there is something weird going on with the left side of it. Any idea?

I was trying to figure that out too...almost looks like the gearbox is hanging off the oscillator arm. I think it might be something else in the background maybe. In the 2nd and 3rd nights (watching the 3rd night now) there's an emmy junior and a huge pedestal...can't quite make it out though.

Here's the loop handle. I have them all recorded and haven't watched them yet.
