Here is a nice late 50s to early 60s lasko I found yesterday. It has been spray painted brown over the factory blue. The thing still runs like new without any rattle. It weighs a ton like most of the box fans from that time period. At least the guy did a decent job with the paint and removed the motor and switch. I would rather have it in the factory blue but you get em they way you get em lol.I think the guy just didn't like the blue color because there is no signs of dust or damage.

Check out the sturdy six pole motor. I took it apart expecting dried up bearing chambers and found a perfectly oiled motor. It has magic marker lines on the motor the guy put on there for reassembly lineup. I don't think I've ever found a box fan That was actually taken care of before. I still wish he wouldn't have painted it!
