Mark, if there is a small two digit number on the rear of one of the blade hub fingers what it is? They can be almost too small to see clearly with older eyes. Below is an example photo of the date code on blade hub.![]()

![]() Thanks Mark, usually the stamped number is between the two outer rivets and, sometimes, very hard to see due to being much smaller than my example. I do see the stamped numbers on most Westys I have seen from 1911 onward. Above on my very early 1912 6 wing 2 speed stamped steel. Fan made in 1911 maybe and either sold in 12 or a 12 model which it was. Below a 15 on a 16" 6 wing stamped steel. ![]() Last edited on Wed May 17th, 2017 02:48 am by Steve Stephens |

Sorry Mark, I did not mean to take over your fan sale. Fan lovers, LOOK at Mark's fan and buy it. I am trying to learn more about these stamped hub numbers which look to be better to date a fan than the micro date on the motor tag.
