i posted this in the pre 1950s forum but i'm not sure if that was the right place.I have a hunter that the paint is pealing off of and under it seems to be a copper color.
has anyone seen this before?

Marce I have not run into that on their desk fans, but I have on Hunter ceiling fans. They would copper flash them before they painted them, I presume to prevent rust.

Hey Michael thats kinda what i was thinking. not sure what the best way to get the rest of the paint off.normally i would tear it down and mask it off then blast it but i'm thinking that's not the best way to go here.
