I need a drive shaft for an Emerson 24666, any help would be appreciated.

Jim,

Not an easy item to find.  But you can make one with the more common shorter shafts.  The worm gear is removable.  I have the specs in my notes if you are interested.

Sorry.  Cannot find my notes.  Dug out a big motor shaft to rewrite the specs.  Will post tonight.

Hope this helps.  I found that the spur gear retaining pin was difficult to remove.  Hopefully you will have no problems and you can share how you did it.  Good luck.

Russ, thanks for the forum link on Emerson driveshafts.  I did a search on the forum but I didn't try "shaft with worm gear".  There is just about everything you would need to know about them on that page.
