Hello. I am new here. I am searching for my favorite childhood fan from the 90's. It is a 12" duracraft window fan. I have literally been looking off and on for years. What is very frustrating right now, is that I just found a seller that has three of them on kijiji( sort of like canadas craigslist) in Gimli, manitoba for sale right now! I got very excited and contacted them. We emailed back and forth, but they have since stopped contact. Maybe they changed their mind and decided they didn't want to deal with shipping them. Very frustrating! Heck, if any of you happen to be in that area and could grab them, i would buy them off you. It would make me so happy to get this fan. Anyways, here is the fan I am looking for. I am excited to be on the forum, and I hope it can help me.

Unfortunately I am not hearing back from this craigslist ad. I have emailed them twice. So I am still looking.

Ed, the original craigslist post you sent me, the lady finally ended up getting back to me! She wasn't answering at first because her husband started using the fan, so she was just ignoring everybody asking about it and didn't bother deleting the cl post. I sent one last email explaining that it was my childhood fan, it broke, was sentimental, and I have been looking for one for years. After I sent that, she got back to me. I was so happy. The fan is nearly mint. No damage, no yellowing at all on the plastic, and the blade turns with even the slightest little breeze. I got it at the very end of august (typically the end of our window fan season) and luckily it stayed warm right through most of september, so i was able to use it quite a bit. I would love to find another one some day as a backup, but that would be a tall order. I don't even see these in peoples windows anymore. You used to see them every now and then. Thanks so much for giving me that CL post.
