I couldn't find an appropriate thread to reply to, but since this non-member has posted several fans for sale I wanted to weigh in on actual experience.
I bought a small fan from Larry around a week ago.  It was shipped promptly and arrived today, packed well and in good condition all the way across the country.

I don't know Larry, but he seems to know fans and indicated he may have others not yet listed to sell.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again, and he did a good enough job in delivering/shipping that I felt like the group should know.  But if he lists something special and you buy it before I see it I'm probably going to cuss at you.

I will second that statement as well. I bought a Polar Cub type C off Larry about 4-5 months ago. He communicated well, knew what he was talking about, and packed my fan very well. I would certainly buy another fan from him.

I met Larry some years ago at his place.  He's a nice guy, loves fans, and is knowledgeable.

That's OK, Rocky!  :thumbup

That math and counting thing can be confusing.

Three people check into a hotel room. The clerk says the bill is $30, so each guest pays $10. Later the clerk realizes the bill should only be $25. To rectify this, he gives the bellhop $5 to return to the guests. On the way to the room, the bellhop realizes that he cannot divide the money equally. As the guests didn't know the total of the revised bill, the bellhop decides to just give each guest $1 and keep $2 as a tip for himself. Each guest got $1 back, so now each guest only paid $9, bringing the total paid to $27. The bellhop has $2. And $27 + $2 = $29 so, if the guests originally handed over $30, what happened to the remaining $1?

They shoulda each got back a $1.67 he gave them a dollar only leaving $2 and an odd cent either way... The math is right the conclusion is wrong... .67 cents is $2.01... I dunno... makes cents to me!  😁😁

Yeah... But my answer is way more convoluted!!   ;)  The correct bill is still $25... Not corrected to $27 The bill for the room is twenty five period...  heheh... I think my answer is better!

It's been a long time, but I can promise you any stay I've ever had in a $30 hotel motel comes with a better story than math problem.

Hi Jamie!

So true!  $30 motel means black light inspection! Raid, plactic bags, shot gun in the room, and telling Mike Mirin and Ray Hane to stop snoring!😁😁
