Hey all,

I have need for oscillator stem with knob and gear as well as gland nut for 8" stamped steel Westy w/straight wire cage. Motor tag missing as well so I guess I need one of those too. Anybody with parts fan maybe? I know it doesn't make sense but it has sentimental value so I'm gonna try to fix 'er up. Thanks, Kevin.

Hi Dennis,

Yes I'm still interested. My fan has no embossed information on top of motor housing as yours' does. Mine has two small holes just ahead of the oscillator on the rear curve of the motor where the tag must have been as on the 12"and 16" from the same time period. I have seen 'em both ways, don't know if it was early or late production or what the deal was. Of course the osc. parts would definitely work for me. Thanks, Kevin.
