Hello everybody!
Throughout the week, I'll be posting presale fans here. I'll do 2 posts and edit/add to them as I uncover other fans for sale. I'll have a lot of other fans and other antiques for sale also. I came to the awareness that in my lifetime I won't get all these restored and they'd be better in the hands of someone who will cherish them. That way I can focus on the fans that interest me. Offers and trades for brass cage fans will be considered.

In the  first post are fans in good working order, or ones that are fully restored. These need nothing in order to run reliably.

The second post is "fixer uppers/ good project fans" - these are complete project fans, but are as found. They have been tested to run and oscillate unless noted. I'll try to note any missing parts, but most are complete. All are dirty and most need a line cord, some need a headwire. All of these need servicing ( disassembly, cleaning, relubricating)

All of these fans will be at the meet (subject to prior sale). Prepayment is via PayPal Friends and family and pickup is at the meet. To members, I'll ship fans 16" and under for the cost of shipping if you can't make it to the meet.

Please PM me if you have interest.

Happy shopping and thanks in advance!!

Post #1 Restored/ ready to go fans:

1) 10" Bronze/ tan  GE Vortalex- Near perfect original paint, fully restored, new headwire, power cord, fully serviced
$125

2) 12" Blue metallic GE Vortalex- Very nice original paint. Perfect chrome cage. A tiny bit of paint wear on blades toward tips but overall very nice fan. Fully restored with new cords, fully serviced
$125

3) 16" Grey GE Vortalex- This is about the nicest original paint Vortalex I've seen. Very minor paint wear on the base, but otherwise perfect. New headwire and cord and full servicing as above fans. $100

4) 12" Green GE Standard fan- this fan has been totally disassembled, repainted, all brass polished, etc. this is about as perfect as they come. Looks perfectly factory original. This is great runner and we used it all summer. $175

All of these are from my collection.

5) Emerson wooden cabinet fan- variable speed- great original condition. This is a fairly uncommon Emerson and is in great original condition. Pickup only- $200

Post #2 Good Restorables- as found. All are complete and have been test-run unless noted.

Base for R&M 1404- $60

1) Emerson 29648- BB/SC 16" - runs and oscillates well. Someone painted it silver but thinner easily removes it- $175

2) Hamilton Beach Drinkmaster mixer- needs cord, untested. $75

3) Eskimo 10" - runs perfect, oscillator bad. Good cage, blade, motor, etc. use for parts?  $20

4) Royal Rochester Peacock Waffle Iron- working. $60

5) Century Zephaire- this fan is DIRTY but runs and oscillates perfectly and quietly. $75

6) Toolmaker's Chest $175 could use a refinish, but structurally, its perfect. All drawers work, etc.

7) GE 16" AOU Brass Bell Oscillator- BB/SC- brass blade. $125

8) 12" GE Standard Fan- Original paint is in very good condition under the paint $75

9) Westinghouse Industrial Floodlight- base has a repair and glass is cracked $125. Very cool piece!

10) 24" Commercial-Aire Air Circulator- Great condition, chrome is nice. Runs great, single speed $100

11) 24" Hunter Zephair Air Circulator- smooth ball bearings, runs well. Levolier nipple broken off but switch might work- multi- speed. $100

12) Montgomery Ward "Super Blue Line" 16" - these are uncommon- I think made by Diehl? Very sturdy fan and original paint is in great condition under the dirt. $100

13) Westinghouse 16" BB/SC 16" brass blade- paint in great condition, has a weird headwire but it's in good shape and runs well. $125

14) Western Electric (R&M) 16" Gearback oscillator- Complete fan that runs well but it has a replacement fiber blade. I actually think it looks cool and pushes way more air than the original would have. You could find an original blade if you want. $80

15) Graybar (R&M) 16" Gearback oscillator with OSHA cage net- BB/SC. This fan is very dirty but runs. Not often you see a Graybar badged one. Would be a very nice fan restored. $125

16) Freshnd Aire Model 26- 26" Counter top Air Circulator- these are rare birds. This one needs TLC as it is very dirty. It runs perfectly on the speed it's on. It kept us cool all day at Tom's meet and worked flawlessly. The switch and coil are there, but it's stuck on one speed. Hopefully it could be fixed. This one had an original painted motor housing and base, so cosmetically, restoration would be easier. Last call at  $150 on this one. Otherwise it becomes my shop fan.

Early 20th Century Coal box. Raised brass relief, wood construction great shape. $50

Awww Stan, hop in the car and head this way! Maybe there's a chance you can arrange for someone to bring it to another meet near you?

I would buy that Commercial Aire if the US wasn't so WIDE and shipping wasn't an arm and a couple legs.

"Gotta Go" Sale- At the meet,  I will have a table reserved for "Gotta Go" fans . Many of my "restorable" fans will be going on this table.

Here's the deal! Beginning at 1pm, and every hour after that, the prices will reduce by 10%, up to 50% off. So,

At 1 pm, all are 10% off,
At 2 pm, all are 20% off,
Etc, up to 50% off

So, buy the fan at the tagged price and it's your's OR, hedge your bets that someone else might buy it first, and save some $$$. If the fan is still there at 5 pm, it's 50% off.

Anyone bringing fans to the meet can put their fan on the Gotta Go table if you're willing to let it go at a discount. Just 2 rules: please tag your fans with a price and your name so we know who it belongs to, and your starting price must be realistic - no inflated prices.

Should be fun!

Jeff, feel free to bring them, just please tag them with a starting price and your name on it. By the interest, I might need to dedicate 2 tables. It'll be fun!

I won't have time to take pics of the Commercial-Aire before the meet tomorrow, but it runs perfectly and the bullet back cover is in good shape. Overall, it's a very nice fan.

You guys arrange the transport and they're your's. Unfortunately our fan transport, Ray Hane isn't able to attend this year. They both break down nicely for transport.
