Finished my '53 77646-AS  Rate Topic

Finished my very first fan, and will be mailing my membership dues tomorrow.  I didn't intend to restore to original, so I took some liberties with contrasting color on the oscillator assembly after I discovered the actuating arm was brass. Also added brass acorn nuts on the three exposed holes on the base, and used dark walnut braided cloth wire.  I think the paint would look close to original with a semi-gloss clear over the Rust-Oleum Flat Chestnut Metallic.

Yes those are great running fans and a great job! Always fun to make the Look nice! Be carful not to spray clear lacquer over enamel paint
