Not 1880's,...      not a motor for a fan,...
            not a Tesla era dynamo...

Who else knows what it is?
   :wondering:

I think that's a clock motor. Possibly an early Telechron motor by the looks of it.
Give me the Shiny Quarter!  :D   :dude:

Really? Because with the cover on the back of the motor like it is, and the way the motor is designed it most certainly looks like an early clock motor...  :wondering:
Also your posting is a bit confusing, because you show a picture of a motor for sale on ebay that is only described as a stator for an 1880s Tesla (Westinghouse) Fan, but then you say that isn't what it is and then ask people to guess what it actually is, to which you responded to your own post with a picture of an ad for an 1880s Tesla (Westinghouse No. 5) Fan that shows a picture of the fan's stator assembly which looks exactly like the item posted in the ebay listing you posted on here and said that the ebay listing isn't what they say it is, but then start to sound like you're saying that it is what it is but then say that it actually isn't what it is, and then say, maybe it will be located soon. But then the item in question also looks like an early telecron electric clock motor stator which is why I gave the answer I did, and then you said it was wrong. so let me get this straight, what exactly are you looking for in here?
