I am hoping someone has the locking wing bolt for my R&M 1501. I asked Chad Baker if the 1404 bolt will fit, he said it will not. Hoping someone has the final part to make my fan complete!

I think the 1404 bolt should fit and I can check later today, I have both fans.

The wing screws are identical on my 1404 and 15050 (30 VDC) fans.  Check with Chad again, I thought he had those wing screws and the smaller one at the top of the base reproduced.   What voltage is your 1501?

I'm half tempted to buy the repop from Chad just to see if it'll fit.

Steve, can you give me specs of the bolt on the 1404?

Patrick, photos of my 1404 wing screw are posted in this thread.   Who was it who had some of those cast up?  I can't find them on Chad's site.  Maybe it was someone else?

Steve, it looks like the bolt I need should be an identical style to the 1404. Looks like R&M used the same setup on their fans of this era. Is hoping I could get measurements of a wing bolt to see if it would fit what I've got just to make sure. http://antiquefanparts.com/cast-brass-motor-adjustment-locking-wing-bolt-for-robbins-myers-1404-1424/

Those will fit your fan if they were made correctly.   All that is needed is to polish them smoothly.   That's the one you need, there is nothing else like it in the fan world.  Give me a phone call if you want and I can measure what you need to know.
