This is the fan I won at the FF 17 auction. I had to have a fan with my name on it. Haha. I've just finished restoring it.
It's a 2 speed with BB/BC. Style 107991, serial # 66568. I think the circa is 1917-18? Has a centrifugal start.  Struts, motor housing and base are cast iron. The fan is a beast, very heavy.
I left the original paint on being that most of it was in great shape.I touched up the spots that had chipped off. When I took the stator out it smelled pretty bad. So I sent it to Rick Huckabee and had him rewind it. He did a great job as usual. It starts right up without any help.Runs in 2 distinct speeds and moves a ton of air.

Porcelain was cracked in half but a had a spare one. Kept the broken one and JB Welded it.

New stator

Badge seems to be solid brass

Finished fan

Maybe a type on the date Vic but your fan is from 1908, possibly 1909 but I think the cage badge went to the stamped version for 1909, at least for 1910.   Nice work on that big guy.

I think your right Steve possibly 1908-09. The one in the Gallery is a 1907 with a different style # and the serial # was a earlier one then mine.
