Greetings and Happy New Year to everyone!

As I'm oft to do, I communicate with members regarding content submission for Fan Collector as part of a role I undertook last year.

Why would I do this? ... To make the magazine even better.

Fan Collector is a wonderful resource we all see full of all sorts of printed stuff (wisdom!) I can only begin to describe some of the things that have appeared: There are How-to articles, tongue-and-cheek narratives about members 'worst fans,' photo collages of fan meets and stories describing those get-togethers -- with, naturally, the fans and the great folks who often drive many miles across state lines to attend.  (One of my personal favorites involved a member's recollection of his trip through the capital city of Argentina.) Want to know about people? There are stories about members so you can see how people got into the fan collecting hobby and why.

But there's a secret to Fan Collector: You have to keep it fresh with new material. So even though everyone is busy with personal and professional goals, if you have the time to submit a photos and an article -- 600 words is all it takes to fill a page of text -- you can make Fan Collector richer through the lens of your own experiences.

Submissions may be sent to or shoot me a p.m. if you have any questions.

-- Jeff

P.S. ... Happy Fanning and may 2018 bring you ever closer to your favorite fans.

Hi Jeff. I always look forward to the Fan Collector magazine. It is just a great old-school pleasure to have a printed collection of our stories to read and share with houseguests.

I want to submit an article about my twin 91 year old Sturtevant fan restorations; however a work emergency has arrived and this will have to wait for the next edition.

Thanks again for the reminder!
