I am working on rewinding my 6 pole 36 slot stator and would like to know from others that have taken one apart just how many coils in it are resistance wire? I thought there should be 12 right?

Don, here are a couple of pics of the stator from my 6 blade kidney taken during disassembly.  Looks like there are two coils of resistance wire just based on the color.  There are no other coils that look silver-ish in the stator.  I've replaced the headwire and reassembled the fan or I'd get some better pics.  It's 36 slots and a 19 bar stator, which should be correct.  One pic of front of stator, one from the back.

That looks the same as mine as well with the one head wire going into that first batch of off colored wire.
