Hi,Thought i'd share   few pic   todays'  pickups
Being as ive never seen this fan in real Life and is in such good Nick ! [ i only seen in Galleries ]

Not cleaned, just   drops of oil in the oil channels  ,
and a super quite little gem
    Blue enameled Badged ..

motor tag

original cord and plug     cord still no fraying at all

These fans are notorious for their paint loss ,to find one like this  very lucky

and a very sweet runner     ...

Is strange you may think  , where's' the marelli       :D

2 fans i had came across  "small pics and badly listed"  ...all i saw was a green marelli ,
with a old, Bombed black limit  yuk !.

Talking to fellow countryman Jim ,  points out to me ,  green marelli on closer inspect is a oval vent  ..congrats .
these vents i mentioned in a earlier post.rare
...small amount of time we spent yakin bout the Limit  ,hey isn't a marelli

I Send a msg over to the UK ,Tony ,the man who knows his limits.... .
and as you can see ,      sure am glad i took his advice  ..

So here's what i really went for a 4 hr drive to collect
            and has a serial number

Marelli      Green   Japanned...oval vented    Knob neck  wall mount

this good to see     if correct         1920

so all in all , 2 very nice fans

only few days ago  ,i didn't have a green one to show in a previous post  ....

fortunes change  eh!

Universal    is very misleading when talking marelli...

.i am slowly coming to the conclusion   is a    [color="#ff0000" style="font-size: x-large;"]model name .    .
i will post more on this later ,catalog scan naming the fan in the teens  and the big clincher is  ,

most of marellis     "Universal"     fans are     Ac brush motors ,    you switch to Dc and they double in revs  and will get airborne  ..

. in reality a Dc only marellis are not a common thing to find ,

pic   previos design to the above models  tab footed    Triangle vents   ....

hope your day is as good as mine ...find a fan !
cheers j

That's a nice find - the last of the black-painted Limits.
