Find a Signal 9" aluminum "Cool Spot" oscillating or stationary with a REAL low serial and it more than likely dates ............1923, or the year Signal INTRODUCED their first fan motor to the market. Attached Image (viewed 150 times):

It appears if you own a Signal all aluminum "Cool Spot", either oscillator or stationary model, you have a Signal Electric Co. first introduction fan motor since their incorporation in 1919. It is in factual documentation that when Henry Tideman left to go to Cairo with the Menominee fan motor name he instructed Signal management they could NOT manufacture fan motors of his Menominee design. Good question: I wonder who designed the all aluminum Signal Cool Spot for the 1923 fan motor season?
