I was at an auction last week and stumbled on an older Hunter G30 and was lucky enough to pick it up. I got it home and it worked but the pull chain appears to have been ripped out, only a stub was left so I took a pair of needle nose pliers and tried change the speed but the came out as well. So I am looking for advice on what switch would work as a replacement.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciated finding this site and just reading through the threads I have picked up a lot of information.

Depending on if its a three speed or not a three speed pull-chain switch assembly used for ceiling fans would work as a good replacement for your Levolier Switch, it would have the same appearance and function as the old Levolier but much more reliable, and they can be had for less than $5 at any hardware store (they are about $2 or $3).
Hope this helps.

Levi, the G30 won't use a standard switch, the Levolier is a double stack with crossovers.

Here is a thread on the same fan motor. If you can match up to the diagram you can use the same switch he used.

Another very talented member, David Allen, did a very in-depth video about replacing the switch on my G30 which is linked below.

If you end up taking the Levolier out, would you send it to me? I'm working on a project to replicate parts used in those to rebuild the inner workings and we're looking to determine the most common failure points.
