My bad - this is a Western Electric 6000, which I believe is a rebadged R&M 3000. New addition has missing brush caps - actually one is missing, the other is missing just the insulating top (pictured below). Thread pitch is SAE 20 (1/4") coarse thread. Overall length is about 1/2" (with insulating cover). Thanks for looking. ![]() Last edited on Fri Mar 9th, 2018 02:35 pm by Tom Nordin |

Darryl probably can make repops if you don't find originals.

Can you post the fan? I have a ton of parts to 10" r&m universal fan.

Cage is 10" - blades are 9". ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited on Fri Mar 9th, 2018 02:44 pm by Tom Nordin |

P.S. - I believe this may be a rebadged R&M 3000, so include that as a possible parts source.

Unfortunately I could I only find one. It fits 3000 models and is in perfect condition with the insulating cap intact and free of damage. If you want just the one, I'd sell it for $15.

Another idea - take a 1/4" SAE 20 brass screw, cut the head off, glue a 1/4" knurled plastic cap on the end, then trim the overall length to suit. Just thinking out loud... Regardless, still looking for one more brush cap to fit this guy. Thanks. Last edited on Sat Mar 10th, 2018 08:47 pm by Tom Nordin |

I CHECKED THE THREAD SIZE OF THE REMAINING BRUSH CAP ON MY R&M LIST 3000. IT IS NOT 1/4-20 THREADING AS STATED BY MR. NORDIN. THE THREAD SIZE IS 5/16-18.

Russ, please refrain from intruding on my thread - poor behavior. If you need the podium to discuss something outside of the subject matter here have the common decency to create your own thread.

I checked my 3600 which is the same fan except it is the oscillator version and the brush cap is a 5/16 -18. Not trying to fan the flames but just wanted to help.

Realized it last Sat., but decided not to make mention just for my own sic humor. Thank you, Chad. Last edited on Wed Mar 14th, 2018 05:56 pm by Tom Nordin |
