I think I have mine figured out thanks to some fan friends. As soon as I have a chance to test it, I'll be posting  the schematic. Hang tight.

There are going to be several motors at Doc's Pig Pickin being wired for a switch, so sure we can figure it out. Will is bringing an R&M to add to the mix.

Zachary..........I'm just a dumb old hillbilly from MO, but may I suggest a few words of caution before you see Doc's collection.........you had better take enough duck tape to go from the top of your head ......under your jaw......and back to the top of your head cause after you see all the fans that Doc has ...... your jaw will drop considerabily. I've been down to over a dozen or so of his fan meets and can now control the jaw drop, but still have problems controllin the "slobers"..... ho ho!

Dan ~ who in preparation to keep cool @ Doc's Pig Pickin dooins.....has been puttin together junk parts from this fan and that fan and has make up an old/junk/hillbilly-rigged Frankenfan that I'll set a few feet from me to keep me cool as I work in one of the work bench spaces in Doc's barn. As a matter of fact I have already "named" the poor ole ltttle orphan fan ....... for those who have already been in my shed and seen it ...... please don't mention anything about how bad it looks cause you may hurt my feelins with all those other purdy brassy/restored/polished-up ones that people bring to Doc's .......again ....ho ho!
