Came across this the other day. Starts and runs on all 3 speeds. It has a brass blade and steel cage. Can’t find any info on this particular model. Is it worth doing a full resto? I’d like to resell if there is any interest.![]() ![]()

The cage badge (and probably the cage too) is from 1928 at the earliest being it has not "dots" on the badge. A restoration may be worth it if you don't pay yourself for the labor. Not a collector fan but a good workhorse. Restoring for resale on that fan would likely lose you money.

Thanks Steve. I do my own restorations so the cost is cheap. I may keep it for a daily runner unless someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse.

The fan itself is much older than the cage; probably circa 1916 as it is two star.

Dustin, here is an original finish fan that is probably a Form T from 1917-18. It's a 12" fan but the cage and badges have the same construction. Your cage would have been a WRAPPED cage and the cage badge has the dots on the front like all GE up to 1928 when the dots went away and the badge background was smooth.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thank you Steve. I happen to have the older cage badge. I may use it on this fan and no one will be the wiser. i won’t tell if you won’t.
