Recently one of our AFCA members, John Smalley, aked if I could make him a replacement bushing for his 16" GE 2-Star Oscillator.  I had a similar unrestored 12" GE 2-Star oscillator (75423)  in my collection.  I pulled the bushing from it to use in making a drawing to use in machining the part.  I came to find that many of these GE 12" and 16" models use this same bushing.
I also find that the large screwdriver slot on these bushings tends to get chewed up because many new and uninformed collectors do not realize that the bushing is locked in by a set screw under the cover.   Sometimes, when initial attempt is made to unscrew the bushing from the side of the gearbox the set screw has not been loosened and the screwdriver damages the slot.

When I made up the bushing for John Smalley, I decided to make up a few extras in case any other members may need one.  I will be offering these at the cost of $25.00 each plus $5.00 shipping.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks, Jerry
