I have my Dad's fan a Kenmore Roll a Matic I think a 1957 ish that I grew up with.  This is so sentimental to me and my dear hubby took apart.  It needs a new switch.  Any ideas where I can find one?  Photo of switch below.  My heart is breaking not to see this special piece running.  PLEASE HELP ...

i will check, whats wrong with the switch? is it just stiff? sometimes you can lay it buttons side facing up and trickle some electric lube spray down the sides of the pushbuttons and keep working it  until it frees up......

Tried that already.  Buttons when one is pushed down the others buttons don't pop back up

I think those buttons are supposed to only pop up when you hit the red off button, because your fan is a 2 speed electrically reversible fan, which 2 of the white buttons are high and low speed forward and the other two are high and low reversed and the middle red button is the off button. usually with those kinds of switches you have to hit the off button to disengage the high or low speed buttons and just going between high and low with those buttons isn't going to disengage the buttons.
I hope this helps.
