General Electric W-22 Box Fan  Rate Topic

This is my General Electric W-22 Box Fan. It's a 20" model with the 5 Element Blade and 3 Speeds. This fan also has a venturi shroud around the blades which really directs the air.

I think it was made in 1968 or 1969.

I used to have a fan just like that, except mine was an electrically reversable model and had a different style of grille as far as how it was attached went, and mine I had found at the recycling center up the road from me, and I worked great for a couple of months until the motor finally started to seize up and when I tried to take it apart to relube it I couldn't get it back together again and so I ended up scrapping it out.
