I'm not sure if these are after 1950, so I may be in the wrong place. I have a small bucket blade I got from another member. I was too impatient to mount it properly, and of course it fell and bent a blade slightly. This was last year co I don't remember if it still ran well, but it is definitley off a bit. Any one here ever straightened/balanced one?
Richard; my 48" one was surprisingly still in pristine condition in spite of laying in a parking lot for a year or more! The little 12W was only slightly tweaked. I was able to straighten it by hand, and with a wooden tool by mounting the frame of the fan in a vise and then just pushing and prying to straighten the blade. First, I removed the creases in one blade, then worked from the outer ring to get the whole blade running true without wobble.
