Larry, I picked up an Emerson 73646 AK 2 days ago. I pulled up some previous posts and there seems to be some debate about the blades and what was really origional. Here are a few pictures from mine ....not sure if there have been some changes along the way.

Larry The only main difference I have found between a 73646 AK & a later model 29646 is the 73 series used a PSC motor with a capacitor, so it had a raised base to accomodate the capacitor. The fan hanging on the wall in my kitchen is a 73646 AK.

Ed your cage badge & blades are pre-1926, so probably originally from an early 29646. Are the cage struts flag or have the S curve? That blade & badge should have the earlier S curve.

Interesting, has the correct struts. Evidently it took a bad fall & someone replaced the blades & cage with an earlier model fan. I always enjoy seeing what people did to get their fan back in operation. I had a 73646 AK which had an early six wing blade on it. Whatever was available to get that fan back in operation!

Thanks for the feedback. Someone locally has asked me to sell it to them. I haven't made up my mind yet ... not to mention I have no idea what it's worth. It is a nice fan and runs great.
Thanks again and have s good one

At least they put the correct type blade on it instead of putting the wrong type of blade on it (they put a 4 wing blade on the fan which is what it originally came with from the factory rather than sticking a 6 wing blade on it which is what some people did, which the 73646 is a 4 wing bladed fan whereas a 73666 would of been a 6 wing bladed fan).

Never seen a 73666 Levi, do you have one? I thought they stopped with the 71666 in 12”.

No, but I'm saying that going by how Emerson numbered their fans if one existed that would be the number of it.
