I was curious about this one. It looks like a Vornado clone even more than the Canadian Vornado fan that I have. The Vornado has a rheostat control for the speed, this one is a 3 speed with a knob at the back of the motor.
Anyone has information on these?

Really does look like a False Vornado.

Nice fan, none the less!

I'm wondering if it's a re-brand. I know Vornado made fans for Sears with a slightly different front grille, those had the Kenmore badging but had all Vornado parts.

Duane, you might be onto something, Because everything about this fan the OP has just screams Vornado, and I'm guessing that Vornado made this fan for Electrohome in Canada and Electrohome put their name on it. I'm pretty sure from what I remember from other forums I'd been on where I had been exposed to the Electrohome name, Electrohome was basically the Canadian equivalent to the Sear's Kenmore Brand Name and Sears Silvertone Brand names, except under one badge rather than two, basically it was a in-house department store brand.

Electrohome wasn't a department store brand, they made their own TV and Electronic equipment until somewhere in the mid-late seventies when they started to rebadge some Japanese stuff. They also made motors for other brands. I have an old Canadian Miami-Carey Coverange range hood that has an Electrohome motor in it.

The 3 speed motor, the motor housing and speed selector at the back of the motor housing don't look like those on similar Vornado fans. But the rest does look very similar if not almost identical.

Here is is next to my "real" Canadian Vornado. I think some of the Canadian Vornado fans (made by Easy Washing Machine, not by OA Sutton) had all metal shroud but those with the plastic shroud were more common.
The Electrohome does look more similar to the more common OA Sutton-made US Vornado models than the Canadian Vornado does.
