I recently found this box fan and was interested to know if anyone else has one. I've never seen one with this particular style. I think it's pretty much a regular box fan with a fireball motor but the styling is unique

So just how effective are those obviously aerodynamic rings?

the fan is relatlively common i think it was made by markel, and the window mount telesoping rods are clearly visible on the left, i havnt ever seen one with the rings. Ventil Air was a two guys bradford brand . The two tone body followed or mimicked a westinghouse model that i have where the darker tone was actually an applique of vinyl in a contrasting color. this fan is very unique i bet if many were sold the rings got broken off...

I've never seen a box fan like that before.
