Do Emerson Jr.'s run warm?  Rate Topic

Just refurbished my 1st Emerson fan and am wondering if they typically run warm?  Just a little above body temp.  Curious bc none of my R&M fans run warm.  I appreciate your help.

That should be normal. If you want to be sure, use an ammeter to check running current. If it’s in line, you’re good. A Kill a watt meter is the best way to do it.

Emerson Juniors are shaded pole motors which do run hot. The older ones like yours run warm. The later one run hot!

Stan already answered this but I just finished restoring this same 10" and it reads 98 degrees.

60 watts. .57 amp draw
