Peter, I think he means the diameter of the hole for the oil cup to go into. That's because if its a 9 inch Vortalex it uses a smaller diameter oil cup than the 12" and 16" models use.

Ahh! Gotcha.... I will get a basic measurement later when I get home. Both fans are 9-10 inchCheers!
