Hello all, I'm new to the AFCA and have been only addicted to antique fans for a couple years.  I have a line on a 16" Westy Tank that is labeled under Dayton.  I don't want to pay too much, so seeking all of your vast knowledge as to a fair value. Here is a picture of the fan.

Those are very scarce models although they may not be worth much more than other tanks.  By the way, the cage did not use a badge, at least none of the several I have seen had a badge.     That one is a two speed fan, not sure if they made a three speed version.

It is hard to say. I just bought one about a month ago for $80 but I think that was a deal. I would think that $150 is a fare price but looking at ebay it seams that fans are bringing more than that these days. Here is the one I just got.

Dayton wasn't manufacturing AC brushless induction desk fans at that time. Neither was Shedd. They scratched each others backs. :D

And let’s not forget that Westinghouse was nearing bankruptcy at that time. Ole George couldn’t afford to be choosy who he sold to. Thus all the brand labeled tanks. They happen to be my favorites.

Around $200 I'd say. The 12" seem to go for more since they're easier to display and move.
