This fan was a gift from a fellow collector here in So Cal to replace my previous Kenmore lost in the fire. It's pretty much the same fan, only a little smaller with two speeds. It's a quiet runner that'll only get better after some TLC.

This video doesn't work, its giving an error message saying that video playback on other websites has been disabled.
Also I had this same exact fan for a while that I had gotten from goodwill when I worked there that they were going to throw it out because of it having the metal blades, and so I bought it from the salvage bin, and I ended up selling it to someone who needed a good working fan for their bedroom, the only problem I had with that fan is that it didn't have its original knob intact on it when I got it so I had to install an old chicken head knob onto the fan to make usable again, and the motor "hammered" when it was running which I couldn't figure out why it was doing that because I took the motor apart and it had all of its original fiber spacer washers intact yet and I had oiled the motor properly and everything, but the person I sold it to apparently didn't mind that it did it because as far as I know they are still using it.

The issue should be fixed. As to the hammering sound this one rattles a little on startup, I've found that cleaning the bearings and adding fiber washers helps to quiet these.

That's what I figured but unfortunately the person I sold my fan to someone that I haven't seen since I sold them the fan so I can't fix the fan for them.
