Hope everyone is surviving the winter, and looking forward to Fan Fair 2019! I know everyone here in Indiana is pretty excited. I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that this year Annie Hill will be sponsoring the 2019 Best Fan of the Year. The fan this year will be the 4 Blade GE BMY, 4th Variant. If you would like to participate, please let Annie Hill know by message that you would like to enter. Entries need to be in by June 1st. If you have any questions please contact myself or Annie. Thank you.

Ok so there has been some "questions" about the BFOTY. It can be any Four Blade BMY, without centrifugal switches. It doesn't necessarily need to be a GE, but can be a Hunter, a FT Wayne, etc. If you look at the American GE Fans prior to 1920, you can find Don Eckerson's BMY. It's a 12" BB/BC Big Motor Yoke, 11 3/8" Pivot, 1911-12.
