I bought this fan and was wondering if any one knows the year the we’re made I’m a little confused about it because it a dc fan . Thanks any info would be appreciated

Late 30’s. It’s a GE quiet blade.

Do you know why the fan would be a dc fan where would that type of fan be used thanks David s

Some areas of the US had DC power very late.  I think into the 60's or even later.  You can install a bridge rectifier  when you restore it and then can easily use it on AC power.
