Hello
Well, I just finished successfully cleaning out the old grease from the gear box and replacing with new Red Tacky grease...so that's good! Now I want to check and replace the old wick, but I can't figure out how to access it. Does the metal tube pull out? Does it unscrew? I don't want to force anything! Thanks!

There is no wick on a 29646 so no need to remove the tube. The tube is merely a filling point. You should however remove the rotor and clean all of the oil drain holes and passages on the bearing tube. Also if dry the oiling system holds about 60 drops of oil. Be sure not to under oil it.
