Runs and oscillates fine, just cleaning it up and performing usual maintenance.

It's not really a cup, so do I add oil or grease to the wick?  I'm confused.  I'd appreciate any guidance and info.

Not sure, but I think oil. At least that seems to be the case on this version (link). I just got my first Diehl (D12912) but it has oil cups, so its more obvious. Mine runs great... Good luck with yours!
